Welcome to your new guild site! This post is meant to introduce you to some of the features and customization options you have on this site. You can add new posts using the "Add a Post" button at the top of the page. If you are a guild administrator, you can delete this post from your Control Panel.
Site Features
To help you get started, here are just some of the features that you should make sure to try out. You can enable each of these features from your Control Panel.
- Guild Recruitment is an extremely useful tool for advertising to visitors that you are looking for new members. In addition, if you enable recruitment, your guild will appear in the WowStead Guild Recruitment Tool, where users can easily find information about your recruiting needs.
- To enable recruitment, first make sure the the 'Guild Recruitment' module is enabled from the General Settings page of the Control Panel. After enabling the module, go to the Recruitment page of the Control Panel. You'll find this link in the 'Site Features' section. From this page simply check the 'Currently Recruiting' checkbox and click the 'Save' button.
- To enable the calendar, first make sure the module is enabled from the General Settings page of the Control Panel. Then go to the Calendar page of the Control Panel.
- On this page, you can create new calendar events by selecting the 'New Events' button at the top of the page. You can also sync your guild calendar with a character's in-game calendar by using the WowArmory's calendar feed tool. To do so, simply follow the instructions below the calendar.
- Wowstead allows you to easily download commonly used addons directly from your guild site! To enable this, make sure the module from the General Settings page of the Control Panel. Then go to the Addons page of the Control Panel.
- WowStead's progression tool allows site visitors to see your guild's progress in an easily summarized fashion.
Customizing Your Site
Even though Wowstead requires very little initial setup, you are still given a number of powerful tools to personalize and customize your guild site.
Wowstead Content Management System (CMS)
The Wowstead CMS is an incredibly powerful tool that lets you create pages, posts, FAQs, galleries and other content for your site.
You can access the CMS by going to the control panel and accessing the control pages under "News & Media".
Layout, Theme & Widget Placement
- You can easily change your site's layout, theme and widget placement by going to the Customize Site page of the Control Page in the 'Site Configuration' section.
Guild Ranks
To rename your guild ranks, simply go to the Ranks & Permissions page of the control panel, inh the 'Guild Management' section.
- Wowstead can detect the number of active ranks in your guild. The ranks are defaulted to Guild Master (Rank 0) and Rank 1 through Rank 9 - where Rank 1 is the highest and Rank 9 is the lowest. You can determine what site permissions a rank has using the Manage Permissions button to the right of a given rank. Users will be automatically granted site permissions based on the in-game rank of their character.
- You can create custom ranks using the "Create New Role" button in the upper right of the Ranks & Permissions control page. Custom ranks can be used to assign privilege to guild members in addition to their default guild rank permissions.
Site Navigation
- You can edit your site's navigation menu by going to the Navigation page of the Control Panel, in the 'Site Configuration' section. Here, you can create and edit navigation links, or restrict them to certain guild ranks and create new links.

A noble band of adventurers ventured deep under icecrown citadel to do battle with the lich king himself. Although the evil tyrant escaped the might of the authority many undead monstrosities were slain and rewards beyond imganition obtained.What the above means is we did all 3 wings of the new 5 man last night on normal mode and completed it. I certainly would like to mention that the story progresses very well in this instance and you really need to do it first before the 10 man raid to get the story flow correct.

And once again a dragon is slain by the might of The Authority!
After several attempts, we successfully beheaded Onyxia, oldest and most fearsome daughter of Deathwing's Black Dragon flight. Well done to all involved.
We want to congratulate Blizzard on the five great years they have been running WoW and to thank them for this wonderful gift to us fans and players.

It was a hard trial, but the judges came out and the decision is clear.
The Authority has demoted general Vezax.
It was a well executed fight, no problems and good coordination.
Afterwards we whent on to have a go at Yogg-Saron, but he proves to be a bit harder then expected. Next time, he will go down though. The raid will not be extended, so we will have new raids this wednesday.

"Enter, those of you who dare!" Came the challenging call from the ring master. "The Trial of the Crusader awaits you!"
Lacan gulped. He knew he had assembled a fine team of Authoritons indeed, many old hands, veterans of spilling the blood of many a horror before this place. This arena of champions, the final test before the Argent Crusade would attempt to deliver the wrath of many lost souls onto Arthas himself!
"Steady Lacan, your leaves are shaking." Mocked the steady voice of Felixjaeger. "No doubt we'll see how it goes in there, just hear the roar of that crowd, enough to get your heart pumping!" Lacan was secretly thankful for the jesting way in Felix could calm people, could get their heads together, could focus the minds of each old and new raiders alike.
"Yep, we're as ready as we'll ever be..." looking around he noted the new faces, Feck, Earnhardt, Hardhat... so many new faces, so many would be put to the test. Ravage caught his eye, a grin spreading over his face. "Come on then, let's go."
"My thoughts exactly Neil, just think, if we pull this off, Dazz will be sick with envy!" Dazzwar, a veteran warrior had always been present, cleaving his way through all manner of beasts and demons before this day, the team's 'sure thing' was noteably absent today. The team could feel it too.
It was Ganya who walked in first, fresh from a vacation away from the Guild. "Hey! Look at him, eager to get going again, ay lad?" Jested Felix. "You're not on holiday now fella!"
"Don't worry about me mate, just keep above my dps, or I'll tell Baldrikk and you'll never hear the end of it!" Retorted Ganya with a beaming yet mocking grin.
As they stepped inside, they were greated by the roars of the crowds, the stench of death and fear around the place. There were half devoured corpses of the fallen staining the sand at their feet. A reminder enough to sharpen the senses. Selebrian nearly vomitted, the stench catching in his throat, and then Thrall himself, magnificant and as impressive as ever stood tall like the legend he is. "Welcome contenders! Let's see if you are worthy..."
Indeed they were!
